Very nice but the purpose is kind of lost if you don't show it with the TV off so people can see the mirror effect.

Nice...looks great!!!!

@janX9 Hello. Can you tell me which site you went on to custom mirror frame your TV? Thanks!
-
Thanks for the reply...With a little research I found a website that will custom mirror frame my TV for virtually the same price as DYI. I think I'll go that route.
They also have different types of mirror to suit one's various needs. IE: Mirror Reflectiveness VS TV Brightness.
Thanks again, and have a great day!

Very cool and inventive!!

Do you have more information on the mirror itself? and/or could you post a video where you show the tv also in the off version during different times of day?

nice but i think the only problem with this mirror is that it fails at its main job of being a mirror......

@duschhead It works fine as a mirror when the tv is off.

can you see it during the day?

Our lanai faces east and the TV is about 12 ft inside the covered area. We can see it well later in the day, after 6 pm.

Thanks for the video Mary Kay, your lanai decor is fantastic!
The DYI info is no longer there, but I just needed to know what kind of mirror is use for that project. Just your basic 1/8" or 1/4" Thick Acrylic See-through Mirror, or is there something else special about it?

Thanks for your comment! It's a 1/4" one-way glass mirror. One-way was the dealer's designation for this type of glass coating. I don't know if it's done in acrylic. Hope this helps.
