Nia is here seen in the studio recording, the Welsh language version of a song, written for use in in a forthcoming YouTube video. This will feature the recent A494 "Welsh Motorway" protest and subsequent Public Inquiry. The specially composed lyrics are a suggestion that, given the determination of transport planners, the pastoral qualities that make North Wales so special might soon be lost forever.
Over the past 2 years, objectors have made sound/video recordings of their interviews and meetings. These are now being edited and compiled for deposit with the National Archive (Wales).

The song translates as:
"Have you heard about the Aston highway?
Do you know about us?
The big Assembly's trampling
Across my beautiful area and me.
If this plan would go away
there would be no tribulations only peace
No loud noise but quietness
We would be in our seventh heaven!"
Nia -diolch yn fawr iawn!
