  • What I love about Pepe's interpretation is that he not only has excellent technique but he seems to feel the song out with his heart and soul and lets that guide his sense of timing for the notes. He is definitely not a cold player.

Others may have excellent technique and flawless performances but it is somewhat mechanical in style and they don't really feel the song out (if you know what I mean)

  • Beautiful. Best performance of this song of the youtube videos I've listened to. Makes me want to break out my classical guitar from its case (been far too long). Problem is, I've gotten so used to picking with just my thumb and first two fingers (not three), that I doubt I could play this (since my 3rd finger is relatively weak and I don't have the patience to get it going again. lol).

  • О мой язь, чувак реально крут) Хотя, у Испанцев это и в крови, но всё равно нечто...

  • This is the most beautiful evocative playing of a this amazing composition. Thank you. Maria :-)

  • The Sopranos brought me here. Artie Bucco especially. Ah Salut!

  • De los buenos guitarristas.. Pocos, Bravo Pepe Romero

  • increible, toco esta cancion y les aseguro que lo mas dificil es darle ese toque de sentir la cancion, algo que pepe hace a la perfeccion

  • @acool6401 Well, I know what you mean but how can anyone not feel this incredibly beautiful song? :-)

  • @acool6401 .......agree absolutely..........In the late seventies and early eighties,.i went to several master classes of his in Houston Texas at Rice University and the classes to this day are so ingrained my playing that I spent not enough money to grab all of the experience and knowledge of performing these pieces that he performs...........and he is a truly gracious and hospitable individual.....

  • the audience is horrendous, bunch of idiots, they don't let him play the last chord, what is this a jazz concert where people start shouting and screaming during coda?
