what makes a good drummer? lars is very good..why? well for starters he keeps good timming which is the drummers main job..he has written famous drum parts and does what is right for metallica, complex drumming does not make the best drummers.. joey is great and lombardo etc but they are all different styles..as a drummer myself you should know not to judge drummers,..lars deserves respect as do any passionate musicians. grow up guys.

To the ppl that says Lars sucks. He is in the most popular and most famous metal band in the world. He is loaded and lives a life that most of us wish we had. Who gives a fuck if he makes a mistake, who cares. Even the best r allowed to fuck up nobody is perfect. He is still an awesome drummer
