yea i agree wit u it was a heart breacker to lose to florida so we werent as pumped as utah was and if we played again i think we would win

I don't see how that would give Alabama the psychological advantage? Utah was pumped up for THE BIGGEST GAME in school history, while Alabama lost out on a chance to play in the NC. while I admit we should've been prepared no matter what, we weren't. I give major props to Utah and their coaching staff for whippin our butt. But I honestly believe a full strength Alabama team would beat Utah more than 50% of the time.

It might as well have been a home game for Bama so psychologically that puts Utah at a serious disadvantage. Combine that with all the junk ESPN had to say about Utah and I think your argument crumbles.
As for the SEC, you're right. It is absolutely the powerhouse conference and I love LSU. It's just fun for us at the U to remember the total domination that was last year's Sugar Bowl.

this is a different year....utah sucks and bama is once again playing for a NC.
plus...psychologically utah had a huge advantage to that game...this was the biggest game in their history while bama was in the sugar bowl for the 13th time and lost a shot at the NC game earlier. also, bama played through a very tough SEC schedule...i doubt utah would go 12-0 if they played a full SEC schedule and SEC championship game

That is true, however, we weren't really interested in a bowl with Utah when we were so close to one with Texas.
