  • I can't wait to see more stuff from this channel.

  • its gonna be a little longer,,,but its coming,,thanks so much,,rodney

  • Nice presentation. Im currently studying on a fine art degree and i also love close's images. Most of my art is close inspired and also the 60s and 70s american realist movement as a whole. Your presentation has actually helped me, in focussing in on my desired subject, "the cropped face". anyway thanks alot for this video it was really well done.

  • thanks for you kind words,,,,

  • Thank you! Very helpful information. And, advice on what NOT to do is actually more helpful than you'll ever know.

  • terrific,,,,rodney

  • What could I do to make art more a part of peoples everyday lives?

  • Also, take into consideration Chuck Close did portraits of many people who ultimately became famous like Francesco Clemente and Elizabeth Murray (shown at the beginning of your vid). He had dealers and knew the right people (like you have said). He has the "stuff"; he focused, and overcame multiple disabilities too! Art business success can be very complicated!

  • Make more of these ART videos Rodney. Pleeze!!!!

  • Thanks Rodney for the advice. Focus is the key. You can have pseudonyms like some Japanese artists (I'm not sure which ones though). Chuck Close is great!

  • that video response is classic!!

    do a piece about studio112artist...

  • Chuck close is my favorite artist....I enjoyed your vid discussing him. I only wished to see more of his work. I wish someone would post a vid strickly visuals of his paintings.

  • Lots of great information, lots of "ums" and "uhhhs" rambling, almost hard to watch but good honest info by an ardent man. But needs better prep could cut a 10 min video to 3
