@mj4ever1332 What? No XD You got that wrong. Whoopie as a young child/woman saw Uhura on Star Trek and has been inspired by her, which helped her to become who she is toay. I suggest you watch "Star Trek: The Captain's Summit" She fully explaines it there =)

I was one of the organizers for a convention in Kansas many years ago and had the pleasure of being Mr Kelleys assistant for the two days he was there. We talked a great deal and not just about Star Trek. He was a genuine, funny and admirable man in every way. I still have a picture of he and I that was taken with his camera that he sent me a few weeks later and signed: It was MY honor... DeForrest Kelley ....along with a handwritten letter inviting me to visit anytime I was in Ca. RIP De
