im confused about the name-calling thing, do the guys only call a set name made by the game-makers for your character? or does the game have like a database for popular, common names and you can find your name in it? I'd really like to know, help me out? :))

This game have a database with common japanese names.

Most of the family name I've tried work (can't be more than 4 phonems) but first name is harder (most of the first are 2 phonems) as for instance Natsumi (3 phonemes) won't work it'll be Natsu instead....

I dunno if my explanations are easy to understand since english isn't my mothertongue....

苗字は4かなまで発音できます。

名前は2かなまで発音できます。
