Items for Daycare

Items I brought to daycare in the beginning and lessons I have learned about daycare! LOL
The List:
In the beginning I brought:
bibs
diapers and wipes (with name on all diapers and wipe package)
burp clothes
frozen breastmilk
bottles with name on them
pacifer with clip
2 outfits

After the lessons I learned what I bring (**)

I worked in daycare and we never used anothers childs diaper on eachother, we would let the parents know when they were running low and if they didn't bring a new supply they couldn't be at daycare if they didn't get any. Some parents were notourious for this and got mad everyime we called them at work because there baby was out of diapers or wipes. We even had a mom tell us that her son could stay in a dirty diaper for awhile!

Wow thats awful I hate leaving Ella in dirty diapers to long! Yea thats the same way her daycare does too. They have a sheet they record everytime she eats, poops, pees, how long tummy time was and the such. At the bottom they circle what she needs like wipes or diapers. I never take in a whole pack of diapers without putting the initials on them first. I just don't trust them they are really nice but you never know.

thank you :) Daycare can def be frustrating at times and I would def rather stay at home with her but unfort we can't afford for me to at this time

Gabe went to daycare for a month! I hated it! I would take huge bags of diapers and they would use them on other kids so his would run out fast and they put him in cheap brand ones(only ones he could wear was huggies) drove me crazy!!!!!!!!! he used to show up with brusies and they saidfrom other kids grrrrrrrrrrr.

I only bring a certain amount of diapers and I count them put her name on them and the such. Bruises thats horrible!

That sounds like poorly run day care. I Work in at a nursery in England, We profive u bottle lables for u to place on ur child bottle & they last forever, & so we dont get them mixed. Them throwin away breast milk is wrong, they arent meetin u childs needs. & usin other baby nappies on ur child, urgh it drives me crazy hear this. Yes I admite we have some babies out other babies pacifer in their mouths but we will sterlise them. This is not proberly run day care. It annoyed me so much!

I am def thinking its other kids I see them playing in the floor putting toys in their mouths and what not, but my husband says at least its building her immune system. I see it as my poor baby sick all the time though. I have missed some workdays because I get sick too. My husband has missed days as well. I am not afraid of her getting swine or the flu. My husband and I both work at the hospital so we will be getting a free flu shot. She will get one as well but not the H1N1 swine flu shot.
