Dinasaurs were egg layers, and the Chicken evolved from this, so the Egg came first, millions of years before Chickens evolved.

@adrianeaglrck I am a you tube "commenter" sometimes but that does not mean I am not credible. No need for sarcasm. I merely answered your question. A basic understanding of evolution means that I know that adults DONT evolve. Evolution happens when gentetic mutations take place in the offspring. Therefore, a bird cannot suddenly change into a chicken. A new species starts with a new generation...ie a new chicken from an egg. Hope thats clearer. Feel free to check a more "credible source"

The chicken egg came first actually. Random genetic mutations happen (along with recombinant dna between parents) during fertilization.
Adult organisms don't "evolve", only their offspring might.

Simple. I ate an egg for breakfast today and a chicken sandwich for lunch. Ergo, the egg came first. Don't see what the fuss is all about.
