  • Is this assuming you have Vista or 7 already? I don't see an option for attach VHD in XP.

  • Yes, but you can use WinMount for example, to mount the VHD in XP, then follow the part in the video where I use GImageX.

  • i dont get that aswell :(. where did he get the iso file

  • i dont understand :/ after you configuring the vhd, then you open up the ultra iso, how do you exacly get another iso image,? (i thought you convert the vhd file into iso format?) that means you already have a iso image before all you done is just copied the install.wim file to the current image you had. i only have a chd and i want to convert it to an iso format, i dont have any other file like you did. is there any way you can help me out

  • is there a way Since i have windows 7 or DID. Not now Stupid Ubuntu To turn my VHD to the ISO from my comp to a CD and reboot my comp to a Windows XP.

  • How did you create that vhd? I did it with Virtual PC and the vhd had 2 partitions, one is system. Yours only had 1 partition.

  • @csiew88 Not live, but instead of installing vanilla 7, you get to installed a customized one. Been looking for a way to create live for a while now.

  • Live CD?

  • what is a program that is like ImageX but works for XP. Cause ImageX does not work on XP

  • Awesome how to video, kinda fast but you did a awesome job, just perfect for making a iso of my win 7 so I can run in vmplayer. To bad it took me almost a day to do it since I have 900gigs of data.

  • i am actually trying to find iso to vhd

  • What does making the ISO do? Is it making a Windows PE of a whole VHD file? If so wouldn't that not fit on a DVD or into RAM?
