@scalasaig I was there!
It was at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow last year (2009) to celebrate Burns' 250th Birthday.
I agree with the other comments about it being one of the best versions of this iconic song I have ever heard

The Celtic people are so special. This precious culture must be preserved. It is so much comforting.

What a GREAT rendition! It says something when people like Dougie MacLean are singing backup...this must have been an incredible concert (does anyone know where and when?).
But most of all, they actually sang the last (and in my opinion, best) verse!

This is the old original melody for Auld Lang Syne. One must recall that James Watson did the Auld Lang Syne poem in 1711 with different words however Robbie Burns 1798 poem version is the one now sung.

The most beautiful, bittersweet, version of this classic. She is fabulous.
It's enough tae make a grown man greet like a wee lassie this!
But I love it and all that CC festival has done for our music!
Thanks for posting.

This is beautiful and a much better musical version of the usual heard at Hogmanay.
