Watch the video again bud. The red car came over on the blue car. The blue car did not move right. There was not anything the blue driver could have done, since the red driver moved over unexpectedly.

Open wheel racing is just nuts. If this was contact between two cars with fenders, it would have been a non-event.

I was a tech for SBRS and saw this happen from the pits. It was a LOT worse than you can see in the vid. I thought for sure Mair would be either dead or very seriously injured. We were all very glad to hear he was OK. This also was just a qualy session, not an actual race!
