I suppose everyone had their favourites, i know Lolly was very popular though i'm not sure my father won anyone over with that Jimmy Hill style beard.
I remember seeing this band live at the Lido In Prestatyn, North Wales in about 1962. They must have been good because I remeber them after 45 years. Thanks for posting this on Youtube
Indeed nice to hear it, I played with Geoff in a band back in the eighties/nineties in and around Ipswich area. Amazing uncluttered style of bass playing, we got on well... I also remember him turning up on one occasion with a cd and a small solo picture of him on the cover with him sporting a goatee beard contemporary with the time of fame. Many stories abounded all the time. A nice man who liked biscuits a lot...
Alex Moss, can't find you on Facebook, i am a friend of your Father. Regards Rob
