Sipix Epaper display showing a movie

Sipix has recently made a big breakthrough in switching speed. It is now possible to show movies on such a panel. At IRX Innovations they have used the new material and put it to the test. The result is a 6 fps movie, but this can be improved to 10 fps when the images can be put in a memory buffer. (or that's what they told me)
Also check the other movie, where I zoom in to the display, showing the microcups, typical for Sipix.

panel refreshrate: 100 Hz
videosize: 480 x 640
greylevels: 4 (but can be optimized for 16 greylevels)

This is like, you picked up the paper that the alien dropped. In the near future (with a few added paper chips and memory) The news paper will update itself as you're reading it .
