Pre 2007 cars were 143bhp and 163bhp depending on the model. Post 2007 cars are 177bhp. this car is either 143 or 163bhp as the speedo goes up to 240kph

ah that beutifull noise of diesel engines.. felt in love in that sound when i was in the navy,, lovely kle-kle-kle.. especialy with morning brease

and with m package,, real beast,, sport, even racing, performance machine with fisshingboat genes under the hood! :D gr8

the 1 series Bmw only had 2 liter as for the diesel engines. Till late 2007 the 118 had 122 bhp and the 120 had 163 bhp. Then they upgraded them to 143 and 177 bhp when 2007(autumn) they also introduced the 123( 2 liter twinturbo diesel engine with 204 bhp and 400 NM) They actually have a less powerful 116 diesel now, which is still a 2 liter diesel, but it "only" has 116 bhp. I can bet all of my money in what I have just said.
