After his speech at RightOnline in Minneapolis MN on June 18, Herman Cain sought to clear up misconceptions about three of his positions on issues that have caused some controversy for him: the question of whether or not he would appoint a Muslim to his administration, a gun rights issue, and his refusal to sign the Susan B. Anthony List Pro-Life pledge. First, he discussed was the issue of appointing Muslims to his administration, which he reasserted was a possibility, but he would "take extra precautions".

The fiery former talk show host raised his voice several times during the presser, but "almost lost his cool" when a reporter pressed him on the Muslim question. He immediately apologized for his outburst.

The question comes at 13:19 minutes in.

  • If you think that this was screaming and that he's a nut job for raising his voice, I would suggest you stand in his shoes and be questioned about the same thing over and over again. I like the fact that he can raise his voice, be passionate, but not angry. If you were paying attention you would have heard him apologize for raising his voice and the reporters didn't seem offended at all.

  • What a shmuck. And screaming at the people asking questions? What a freaking nut job.

  • @scottntexas A private centralized nationwide bank created in secrecy(look it up) is inherently evil, and he was employed very high up by the federal reserve. Sure, being a chairman of one of the five centers doesn't make him lucifer, but it is in his job resume. I wouldn't let a pedophile babysit my children and like wise I don't want a former federal reserve chairman watching the country.

  • @opengee Um... read my comment again?

  • You can't fix the Fed. So many people have no idea what the Fed has done to this nation. Look up the Coinage Act of 1792, it's still in force today. The FED must be abolished or we're finished as a nation.

  • 8:30, Confirmation that Herman Cain is a Shill.

  • Thanks, NiceDeb for sharing this. I will throw you a link on Katy's Conservative Corner. I did not get this on tape. Blessings!

  • If you are concerned with Herman's position on auditing the Fed, then you need to start watching at 7:00 and stick with it through 8:40, because your ADD obviously kept you from getting that far into the interview.

  • Anyone who does not believe the Federal Reserve needs to be abolished is extremely naive and uninformed. This man is either really dumb or is trying to hide something. He says he wants to work on the economy....well, does he realize the Federal Reserve has a lot to do with our economic problems? I wouldn't vote for him, no way in hell.

  • More Cainsian economics. Why does Cain insist on suggesting that we need a central bank like a Communist country? This is the fifth plank of the communist manifesto. Does he not believe in the free market to determine prices and interest rates? How does the Fed have nothing to do with the economy when the determine money supply? The Federal Reserve and other regulation is the problem not the solution.
