Louis Armstrong - Black and Blue, Budapest, Népstadion, 1965. június 9.
Fats Waller, Andy Rafaz, Harry Brooks - Black and Blue
Cold empty bed...springs hard as lead
Feel like old men...wished I was dead
What did I do...to be so black and blue
Even the mouse...ran from my house
They laugh at you...and scorn you too
What did I do...to be so black and blue
I'm white...inside...but, that don't help my case
'cause I...can't hide...what is in my face
How would it end...ain't got a friend
My only sin...is in my skin
What did I do...to be so black and blue
How would it end...ain't got a friend
My only sin...is in my skin
What did I do...to be so black and blue

Great rendition -- In fact the best I have heard and I have listened to Louis live a few times ! He just lets it all hang out here (in Budapest) and gives the lyrics the emphasis they so well deserve ! Thanx so much for sharing Louis free and in top form !

Sorry Mr. Armstrong, but it still goes on today. I love this song but this world will continue on its path to hatred. You tried to fix everything by song but the ignorance still lingers, I am hated for my skin but like you I am going to press on forward. You and everyone else in past, will be missed.
R.I.P Louis Armstrong
