Republic Resonator Guitar

I began to learn slide few month ago and I just receive my new Republic Reso Guitar. I find he sound great but I can't compare, Its the first time I play with this kind of guitar. Let me know what you think about the sound... The first tune I play is a solo by Joe Bonamassathat I found on You Tube.
At the end is some nice chords from Kevin Breit's tune "Folkalarm".
In between it's just me... : )
