@TeamRocketRockin Wait a minute... if they could remove the text on the Henson logo, WHY CAN'T THEY REMOVE THE ITC LOGO THE SAME WAY! THEY DON'T HAVE TO REDO THE ENTIRE LOGO IF THEY CAN JUST REMOVE THE TEXT FROM THE FILM!
@mightyfilm The worst part is, you can obviously tell when some of them are fake. Look at the DVD episodes of "The Muppet Show" for example. All they did was take Jim Henson's logo, remove the text, and add in copyright at the bottom.
after ATV lost their franchise & ITC went bust because of the failure of 'raise the titanic' & before disney bought jim henson's company in 1989,i think henson distributed 'the muppet show' himself during the 1980s,i think?! how did he do it? did ITC sell the programme & the first 2 muppet movies to his company or did he agree to own the rights?
Now that was awesome. I remember seeing a version which had the ATV/ITC ending (I think it was a Mummenschantz bit and probably American made due to the ITC part) but not one with just ATV. Nice to have it up.
Oh yeah! I'm not a logo buff by any means, but I HATE when companies, any companies, have to rewrite history and add fake little new logos to older shows. DIC did it ALL the time, killing the Inspector Gadget signature logo with the UGLY "Wonderful World of DIC" 90's logo on every release.

I'm sure these British credits ended up on Canadian TV at some point. I definitely remember seeing them.
