I remember listening to his music along with TOMITA in the seventies, then usually with the works of RYUICHI SAKAMOTO (Yellow Magic Orchestra),and his own FANTASTIC stuff a little later. Give them both a listen, especially SAKAMOTO: TONG POO, Field Work, Borom Girl, Ascience......Incredible stuff......

Boy, am I glad I remembered to look up DEODATO today when I got home. I forgot how much I love this song and how it was so much a part of my HIGH SCHOOL days...everything this man did and DOES is well worth adding to your musical library! WoW...
