From Emeritus News: President Obama Saturday declared a national medical emergency. This will free medical centers and personnel from some of the normal regulations in order to set up makeshift triage areas to treat those suffering from H1N1 Swine Flu. This has become a problem in areas where the number of patients has exceeded capacity of medical centers, especially in underserved or rural areas.
