  • Please put that game in the notes of this video (as suggested by you) with 2. ...c5. I would be interested in that. I would check it up myself of course, I just can't hear clearly what you're saying :)

  • "you might be depressed at move 2" lol

  • Much thanks K, I already play this against the sicilian so it should be an easy conversion. If I remember corectly Spassky has some nice games of 2.b3 against the sicilian. Cheers.

  • These gambit systems are really nice. It would be nice to see more of them. Some sort of a Gambit Guide like on the ICC xD. But ur explanation is much better ofcourse. Keep up the good work.

  • It's a fun opening system to play. I've actually played it against the scandinavian successfully several times. That is with a3 - g5 - g5. So an extra pawn move was needed because blacks bishop was outside of the pawn chain on f5.

  • @marcusmarler Pin by the bishop

  • @08:53, why is Qh8 mate? what about the knight?

  • thanks for the upload kc. i play a lot of online chess and i've been looking for something interesting to play against the french defence because i dont like it as white. good job

  • Thanks. I really like your videos. I play the Reti Gambit some.

Sometimes I find myself in bad positions. This oftens happens after 2... N-KB3 or 2... P-QN3 when black goes into a a QID or Nimzo Indian type of structure. Sometimes after 2...N-KB3 I will kick the knight like in a Alekhine's defense and I have gotten in trouble with dark square weaknesses on the queen side.

If black does not play 2...P-Q4 I get in positions where b3 does not work well with e4.

  • killermove at 5.03!!
