I wish he hadn't returned. In Diamonds are forever it's perfectly clear he doesn't give a damn about the character any more and only did because they managed to lure him back with a record amount of money.

Diamonds are forever probably would have been better with George Lazenby.

Connery was great in From Russia with love and Goldfinger.
