A very fast-moving Platypus in the Brodribb River in East Gippsland on 8/2/10. Martin and guests were sitting beside the river (near the Sardine Creek junction) when this happy little guy just swam past! We've never seen a Platypus here before, but the Brodribb is a very healthy river so it's not surprising that they live there. What is surprising is the time - it was 2.30pm!!
He (?) swam past, then over the rapids and disappeared.

  • Wow, he is really fast-moving, like a fat little torpedo of cuteness!
