Couldn't add the special intro due to length. On the plus side, this is my first video to be exactly ten minutes in length.

Today's battle is with Zeromus! But not the normal one... rather, Zeromus EG from FFIV Advance. His HP is the same - 200,000. He usually acts twice each turn, too.

In my next video, I'll talk about my Kaiser Dragon.

    or something else that is from sonic games?

  • @teogeox I don't have XP anymore. Aside from that, I'm not sure how that would work. Egg-Nega Wisp and the like are from... I guess you could call them platformers. I wouldn't know how to translate that kind of boss into an RPG format.

  • How do you get Zeromus to act more than once each turn? Sounds cool and I'm curious.

  • Wow I'm late to respond to this. Anyway, you can make an enemy act more than once by using Common Events. More specifically, you can give a skill a Common Event that has "Force Action" in it.

  • @Snake2557 Even with the skills (I dabbled in what you said a little a while back, but I'm still not the best when it comes to RPG maker, lol), wouldn't their stats still be too low?

    I mean, take final fantasy they start with over 10 for ATK and DEF and stuff, but I can't figure out how to get that to work with 1. My armor usually grants +1 and isn't hard to get, necessarily (get up to around 5 on lvl 1)

    and every level up grants stat boosts, and with 2 STR and DEF, beginning enemies are easy!

  • @GamesOplenty Alright, I had that problem to begin with haha, i am good with vx, I think you should try giveing your enemies stronger skills that are activated untill the party is a higher level, the slime gives an example of that.

    So since they get overpowered so fast, I tried giving them less equipment and making the enemies a bit stronger. They still get overpowered after one or two levels. OR they get demolished by the enemies for having 1-3 defense. I don't know how to set the low stat to high stat thing up, and it's a huge setback :(

    (again, IDK if you're good with VX, but if you can help, it'd be greatly appreciated)

    I don't know if you are good with VX, but I switched to that and was wondering if I could do around the same thing (Not max stats, I guess), but I don't know if the stat system is different. I don't know if like, 1 STR in VX=6 STR in XP or whatnot.

    Also, for either of them, I'm always trying to make characters start with low stats so it's more like a normal RPG. I always have them at 1 to start, but they always get overpowered after 1 or 2 levels

  • @GamesOplenty your enemies would be extremy weak, im not trying you bash your idea but a boss with max stats is extremely overrated. If anything make your boss have 850, and 600k health max mp and your enemies at 800 stats and 20k hp.

  • @Listugujboy1 i don't suck at it. in fact, it's actually simple. you have to do a lot of trial and error though >_>

  • how do you make that dragon "evolve" in battle?? whats the event or whatever it is?
