Microsoft finally joins the native device software store with the launch of the Windows Marketplace for Mobile. It is a decent start, but there are still several areas where they can improve it and the apps are generally still much higher priced than the iPhone App Store.

  • After i downloaded it it says thay u need internet and may incur data charges, i have internet but i dont get the second part, help me?

  • Is theirs a hack for the marketplace?

    Like free apps?

  • APPS SUX

  • me too im soo irritated because what i did was i went to file explorer and cut it to storage but now i cant put the apps in my shortcut and to manually open them on file explorer

  • i have an omnia too and i dont even want to put on a storage card i want it on my main storage because the device memory is very limited

  • I just dont understand why it downloads "directly: to the main memory and not the storage memory. I have a Omnia and it has 8 gigs integrated storage and the main memory is not even enough to download the facebook app. I hope there will be an update that gives some option to where to download the cab file.

  • just before 2:20 you say "when you launch 'it'"

I have an omnia i910, and i'm desperately trying to find a way to get apps without pirating free ones. I try doing a google search for "windows marketplace for mobile" and go the the website, but it's not that.

What is this 'it' that i have to lauch? :L

  • hey nice vid Is Shazam in the WM ap store?? (shazam is a music recognition ap)

  • Thanks for the walkthrough!

My only constructive criticism is that you should have your walkthrough more well planned to keep the whole video around the 5 minute mark. :)

  • blablabla..... blablabla..... dont bla so much, tnx
