Yeah it was pointless modding a $100 Graphing Calculator. But I wanted to have something different than what others had. These LED's are BRIGHT!
Just think of the many uses for them. If your walking down a dark alley and need a light source, BOOM! Just pop out your calculator and shine your way through!
The LED's are controlled by a switch which is not shown in the video. A DIP switch is placed where the backup battery is placed. So you can turn the LED's on or off anytime!

WTF, When they said backlight mod they didn't mean put the lights on the back of the thing..

@Fanatic048 I was thinking the same exact thing, i would have at least tried to make a backlight or front light to light up the screen.
