Rachel looks on as Caroline and Ken discuss primitive art. After Caroline goes to get another glass of champagne, Rachel says she can't imagine why Sharlene invited Caroline. Ken asks Rachel if they can step outside because he needs to talk to her, and they leave. Felicia talks very, very preliminary wedding plans with Cass and Frankie, ruling out a garden wedding (Cass has allergies) and a hot-air balloon ride (Frankie has a fear of heights). Felicia asks Cass if he's talked to Stacey lately and if she's mentioned anything about Lucas's case. Cass says that Stacey won't know anything until she talks to the Congressional committee, then asks Felicia how Mitch feels about all this concern she has for Lucas. Matt confesses to Mitch that he and Josie are having a problem; sometimes he looks at Josie and thinks she's not the same Josie he used to take skating at the mill. Mitch sympathizes. Emma compliments Matthew's manners to Josie and Frankie. Josie asks John if he's heard anything from Sharlene, and he replies that he hasn't and he's going to call The Pelican and find out where she is. When John comes back from calling The Pelican, he tells Michael that Sharlene isn't at The Pelican and she was never scheduled to work tonight. Sharlene lied to him, and she's never lied to him before about anything. Michael cautions John not to try and control Sharlene, but John says he doesn't want to control her, he just wants to understand what's going on. Felicia tells Emma that Frankie couldn't do better than Cass, and then she tries to talk Cass up to Emma. Mitch says nothing when Felicia tries to draw him into the conversation to help her talk Cass up, and when Emma leaves, Felicia is not happy that Mitch didn't help her talk Cass up to Emma. Mitch is also unhappy, but he's unhappy because he thinks that Lucas is the only thing Felicia thinks about or cares about; she just got done talking to Cass about him, didn't she? Mitch says if he just knew Felicia was thinking about him...but he doesn't finish the sentence.
