Hi lushiouslocks21,

I prefer a semi sweet or dark chocolate for these strawberries, but if you like milk chocolate better, then go for it! Melt it in exactly the same way..

This is tempered chocolate right?

@ichijofangirl1 No Ma'am, it's not. This is how easy it is. I just melt 4 ounces of dark chocolate (it can be chips) with 1 tablespoon of Crisco (in the microwave, usually) and stir really well. That will coat 12 to 15 large strawberries. Then I melt the same amount of white chocolate and Crisco and dip the strawberries a second time in that. Any leftover chocolate I drizzle over. Actually, it's better to do the white chocolate first and then the dark chocolate. Good luck!
