Then Israel would find a 'partner' in the truce ( according to Israel itself, its Shin Bet intelligence agency even said it was impressed with Hamas' enforcing of the truce!) in Hamas. War is always a last resort in any situation, but in this case, war was Israel's first.

If Israel wanted to just defend its people from rocket attacks, all it needs to do is to abide by the truce, extend the truce, respect it by gradually lifting the illegal blockade, and not attack Palestinians inside Gaza who Israel suspects are PLOTTING to attack Israel.

I have my sympathise not for Israeli or Palestinian politicians, but Israeli and Palestinian civilians who just want peace ( does not include Palestinians who wants to eliminate ALL Jews or Israelis who support occupation). They are trapped by politics and regional powerplay.
