@Tairaa91 Even so this movie had a reason why it did what it did. Dragon Ball Evolution had no excuse. This movie was a low-budget film made w/o the DB license so they can't use most of the manga/anime character appearances or names in the film. Hollywood got full rights to every aspect of the Dragon Ball license including the character names and appearances but they refuse to use 97% of them making the material look less like Dragon Ball.

Let's see who's in this movie: Goku, Grandpa Gohan, Master Roshi, Yamcha, Shenron, Nimbus, Bulma, Oolong, Puar, King Gurumes, Penny, Raven and Major Domo from Curse of the Blood Rubies. So the only things they got wrong here are the names, Puar being a parrot, Bulma's hair not blue, Oolong's original form is not a pig, Shenron being special effect and not a real dragon, and the Nimbus looking a lot less like a cloud. Not bad.
