Daniel Sullivan Canadian Seal Hunt Anti-Fur Protest/Demo 2.15.10 pt1

Activists in New York City took advantage of the President's Day holiday to take a trip to Daniel Sullivan's home to protest against Canada's continued slaughtering of harp seals on the ice floes of Canada. Daniel Sullivan is the Consul General of Canada, and has the power to influence Canada to end this senseless seal cull.

Canada, your traditions are sickening - you've blood on your hands, and this sick bloodbath needs to end. Beating and clubbing seals, staining the ice floes bright red, skinning alive and leaving thousands of mutilated carcasses steaming and freezing on the ice - this is just disgusting, cruel and wrong.

Daniel Sullivan, Consul General, stop the seal hunt! Activists will never back down until this killing for fur and vanity stops!

The rich and stupid do NOT need new fur coats - Canada, this killing must end!

@fieldhockeyislove93 If you're avoiding Canada because of the Hunt, I suggest moving out of your own country for their severe mistreatment to cows, pigs, and chickens. It makes more sense for you to protest that since injecting chickens with so much growth hormones until their own legs break, only to be stuffed with thousands of other chickens with their beaks sliced off for their entire lives.

It's right on your doorstep, go and make a difference instead of pretending to care.

I encourage the humane treatment of animals, I've donated money to the World Wildlife Foundation to put a halt to inhumane treatment to animals. Protesting the Seal Hunt is rather pointless, it's quite necessary and humane.
