WE ALL DID IT!!!
THE BIG YELLOW BUS IS NOW ON THE ROAD!!!
PLEASE VISIT THEIR RESCUE PAGE FREQUENTLY FOR CURRENT RESCUE EFFORTS!!!
We are working to save 9 horses (7 pregnant mares & 2 studs, that would be gelded) that a breeder was planning to sell to slaughter. They are the last of his breeding stock, and then he will be out of the horse breeding business entirely (and will stick to raising cattle). His ranch is only 1 1/2 hours from Natural Valley Farms Inc., the new horse slaughterhouse in Canada, so it is quite easy and convenient for him to sell them at top dollar for meat. We can save these horses, and transfer them to other rescues to be adopted into loving homes, but We Can't Do It Without You! The horses MUST be picked up on March 15th, or they will go to the slaughter house buyer. We have until 6pm on March 14th to raise all the necessary funds. 540 - Bay QH stud $900 541 - Sorrel QH mare $675 542 - Bay mare with star snip $675 543 - Buckskin & white paint mare $675 544 - Bay & white overo mare $675 545 - Black & white paint stud $700 546 - Cremello paint mare $675 547 - Buckskin QH mare $675 548 - Black mare with blaze $675 Subtotal (horses) $6,325 Transporting & gelding 2 studs $2000 TOTAL $8,325
All of these mares are in foal, so really we are saving 16 horses! Please help us give them a new lease on life!! Thank You!!! Time is running out...

Thank God....you are angels...to do this...thank you so much...I have 5 horses myself and 3 are getting older...they will never leave this ranch...when and if its their time we will have the vet put them down and bury them here as we have already done once...we are horse loves, not horse users...god bless you
