The girls with the band encouraged everyone to stand up for the national anthem. ;) Then the band stood up too before launching into this rockin' version of "Dixie."

These guys are so incredible -- buy their CDs!! http://www.civilwarband.com

  • My God this is amazing. I could only wish to make a Civil War band this good. Groups like this is how the South stays alive.

  • They are not to be missed!!

  • Yas sah ... I surely wish that I was there in person for such a joyful event. From half-a-world away, I have a fanatical passion & interest in the history of the War Between The States (I'm a Southron). I only recently discovered this outstanding band, via I-Tunes. And I'm now buying up my fair share of this magnificent band's produced album work. This clip is great - I get to SEE the band in action ... not just merely HEAR their admirable art & skill, from afar. Many thanks !!

  • They are awesome. So talented, and so funny and entertaining. I will be posting more!

  • I had the pleasure to dance with many fine gals at the 147th Gettysburg to the music preformed by the 2nd SC. After an emotional "Southern Soldier" we departed from the dance, and I didn't know how much I would miss it until the next day. Shout-out to the 42nd Mississippi Company I!

  • In Dixie's Land I'll take my stand, to live and die in Dixie

  • hell yeah only the finest.

  • Awesome!
