USA is coming closer and closer to canada but canada will dominate hockey for years to come but in olympics its going to be canada vs Usa for years and year can't wait till 2014

@barbarian92 I think he is a bit arrogant too though. I personally think Canada and the US are the best 2 countries in hockey. Russia yes historically but currently I think definitely USA and Canada. Put it this way, when you saw that final game like everyone else, we all knew 1 thing. Those 2 teams that made the Olympic hockey final were clearly the best 2 teams. The odds crap thing they put against the US was just that..crap.

well, hockey does involve some luck, and it just happened to go canada's way. it's tough, but hey, that's the way things go.

well yeah i say it would be the other way around if it was americas sport and in the semis russia could of won easily when the guy had a open net in the last minute he could of skating up but he just dumped it

not to make any excuses, but the us doesn't have as much firepower as canada. i guess you could also call us cocky. but hats off to canada for wanting it more, as my fellow americans seemed to fold after the comeback.
