Mr. Haines was a gentleman and ALWAYS looking out for the little guy. CNBC hasn't been the same since his passing. God bless Cindy ( marks wife ) god bless Meredith ( marks daughter) And god bless (Matthew ) marks son. Mark we miss you very much standing up for the little shareholder and taking on these guests where some of them were full of BS, And you straightening them out Mark.. God bless you sir, And rest in peace.

How anyone can think Haines was confrontational, arrogant or smug really have no idea what real reporting is about.
He made a statement and Frant tried to change what he said. Haines would only confront those dodging questions, telling lies, making statements they could not support or tried to twist what he said.
The media has lost one of the few things close to journalists it had remaining.

That was awesome. RIP Mark Haines. I loved watching that guy. It is funny seeing comments on his work-- he gets bitched at from both sides. Thats the sign of somebody who actually thinking about the issues-- not just siding with his party.

Haines is a dick and I am sick of these interview non-interviews that turn into the pompous host asking then answering their own questions . They don't really want to discuss the issues now do they.

Haines is not half the dick Susan Roesgen is.
He was actually pretty cordial and a sight for sore ears compared to her. Barney Frank even admits that he's an asshole.

he shouts and pouts, talking about interruptions and being talked over, all to make him seem like a victim. He did it on O'Reilly too.
