I love this show I wishes they had done more than one series!

I wouldn't even know about this series at all if a friend on Xbox Live hadn't told me about it. I can't believe this never aired over here in the UK. Such a shame.

Oh well, I pretty much instantly bought the boxset and movie. I used to think Doctor Who was a great science fiction, but Firefly puts it to shame.

Joss Whendon needs to write some Firefly novels.

i wish they would continue this somehow. it wasn't my favorite show, but it was different and charming. the cast was amazing.

By "why would FOX continue to play the show" I of course mean they would've just immediately cancelled it instead of playing them in a random order like you claim, and then canceling it when ratings went down because of which.

The truth is, they done that because they didn't want people to know what they were doing. And paranoid? Lol I'm just not happy that it was messed up the way it was. It has the best dialogue anything I have ever seen has. To me, it's the best show in the world. Besides, look at the way they oppose the Alliance and what the Alliance were doing to River. Do you really think the government would want people to think things like that were actually happening?

That makes absolutely no sense. FOX owns the most watched and thus arguably the most powerful news station in the US, which under Obama currently runs some of the most blatantly anti-government programs on TV. Under Bush, you had MSNBC and SNL and pretty much just all of Comedy Central, those are way worse for government than Firefly is...

The government does not have the authority to dictate the order episodes get played in, and if they tried news stations would have a field day.
