Ellen had a couple of good moments on Idol: during Hollywood week, saying step forward, step back, step forward... When she said that a singer's two traits don't seem to work just like combining a blanket with a bathrobe, but the Snuggie was a big hit. Also, whenever she flirted with the guys.
