@littlebbjesus its going to take about 7 months to work up the money to get the 4.7 (about 5 for the 3.1) but yeah i guess itll pay off

@predatorguy07 Lucky! :)

@littlebbjesus yeah i got a job and am joining a club/team so im getting (depending on how impatient i get) a madone 3.1 or a madone 4.7 because a 1.1 really would not cut it in a criterium eh

@SemperFeared agreed

@predatorguy07 If you are an experienced rider then you should probably get a different trek than this one.

@CaptainMalick NEVER buy a bike from Walmart or any other dept. store. Their employees are trained to sort items on shelves. Bike shop employees are trained to professionally tune/repair/disassemble/reasse
mble all types of bikes. Walmart bikes are from no-name manufacturers, break down much quicker than real bikes, and are generally unpleasant to ride because of their "one-size-fits-all" bikes and poor components. A real bike is custom fitted and rides faster, smoother, and lasts much longer. -
@predatorguy07 Well, I have the 1.2, which is about two hundred dollars more, & I would not trade it for anything. It's helped me get into racing condition which I was not at this past summer. Go get it. Besides, "cannibalizing" your own bike ends up being more expensive most of the time. I'd highly recommend the 1.2, & i'm sure the 1.1 is basically the same quality.
Hardcore music, not a very hardcore video! Hahaha
