@NoPainNoGain2393 A band doesnt last twenty years by playing the same thing over and over. Have you listened to the song "Pardon Me"? They are a changing consciousness as individuals and therefore as a band. If you wanted to hear the old incubus sound, then just play their old albums.

@onelovenah Also, by them saying they've grown and matured they're basically insulting themselves and saying their music in the past was just not good enough for them. Like they're too good to make music like they used to 'cause it's too childish. Yea..okaaaay. Honestly, if someone tried to tell me they're still as amazing as they used to be in person, I'd probly have to hit them in the face. They're clearly not. Growing and maturing as a person is good, but growing and maturing as a band is what bands say when they change their sound and they want their fans to understand. No I don't understand, because it's bullshit, I started listening to Incubus when I was young because I loved their music and their style, but they're not supposed to change. It's almost like they sold out. As a band you're not supposed to change your sound, it's like saying FU to your fans

Would you tell your best friend, "i know you think you've grown and matured, but you're not half as amazing as you used to be." no, a REAL friend would stick by one's side & support & love them no matter what perspective you have on their progression. Try to see the path they are dancing down, maybe then you'll see why they dance in such a way....& who wants to dance the same way forever?

Quintessentially a classic Incubus song, everything just speaks Incubus to me. Sony really derped the herp leaving this off the album and inviting Friends and Lovers in its place

@andyremains debatable, bands are following the trend and ruining their legacies with their new albums in which they "grew, and matured," no it's called sucking and putting out an album that just wasn't half as amazing as the stuff they did in the past..now don't get me wrong I love Incubus and everything they did in the past and 2 songs off this album, and 2 of the bonus tracks from here, but they really disappointed me.
