Look at what science has discovered just in the few hundred years of recent history? After all the earth used to be the flat center of the universe and everything revolved around it. Of course we all know this is nonsense. Science is always progressing. Religion however is unchanging, it gets everything it knows from a static book. Reinterpreted maybe, but still the same stories. Science will throw out stories when evidence demands it. Religion makes excuses.

Those who think that there are questions that science cannot possibly answer are limited by their view of history that only encompasses time to the present. Who can say what science may be able to comprehend 10,000 years from now. How about 1,000,000 years from now?

@DrMontague I've read the Wikipedia article. The "you mustn't know anything about it" argument can apply to anything. People follow Marxism without skepticism. You may criticise religion, but the exact same problem applies to Marxism.

@eggsaladinthetub Then you don't understand Marxism I suggest you research it.. There is no such thing as a Marxist. Marx philosophy argued how different economic systems give rise to to the political systems and ideology. He argued that capitalism would inevitably produce its own grave diggers. You are probably indoctrinated by the capitalist media who naturally are going to try and rubbish this philosopher.
