The 'Open' sign is attached to the inside of the frame geniuses, not the actual glass, which is why it doesn't move when the plexiglass does...Watch secrets of magic, they've revealed this before, the whole thing's a pre-built set piece.

First of all, Magic/Trickery is all physics... and none of it is practical. Criss angel is a very good illusionist and a performer thusly is paid enough to rig up expensive tricks like this, the cost is worth the acclaim. The glass does move/slide up, the paper covers an emerging hole. The glass is probably Plexi glass, which is much cheaper, safer and lighter than glass.. cont...

For anyone who is debating this because the Open sign doesn't move... the Illusionist is paid well because they create GOOD illusions, The open sign is not attached to the sliding Plexi. Just because it doesn't seem financially practical to us, means nothing... The fact is, the more expensive and complicated the illusion, the more fans draw in to put the illusionists kids through college,

Im not contending that you are wrong, Im simply pointing out that it hasnt been proved in any way, its only a theory. And an expensive one at that.

As light as plexiglass is, a piece that size is extremely heavy.

Please explain how it is moving up and down, and explain howcome nobody is coming forward and saying they have seen how these tricks were done in person, and THEY reveal it? Surely all these people arent being bought off for life.

You are on the right track. However the glass is really glass and it slides up and down. The bottom part cut out of the glass in a "U" hole upside down. He has 2 assistants on the other side sliding the glass up and down so he can get through.

This is not a REVEAL, this is your theory...& to be honest it's a clever theory but you can not back it up & it isnt at all practical, especially the OPEN sign proving the glass was static & not moving.

There are certain Illusions, and thats what they are...ILLUSIONS that he obviously does with props, tricks, etc...but many of his smaller feats seem to defy the laws of nature. These, nobody seems to "reveal", if he was to be CAUGHT ONCE, not theorized, & it was proven, his career would fade
