He graduated from the George Enescu Music High School "in Bucharest and is currently a senior at the University of Music Bucharest.
The 19-year-old Eduard Carcote composed with the song "Tornero", played by Mihai Trăistariu, who represented Romania in the Festival Song Contest 2006, earning fourth place. After that, he worked with several Romanian artists (Akcent, Shantel, Costi Ionita, Vika Jigulina, Cassa Loco, Studio One, DjRynno, Dj Sava, Marius Nedelcu, and Inna Blaxy Girls).
In 2008 came the album that helped re-launch the band Akcent, appearing in the international music market with hits like "Stay with Me," "That's My Name" and "Lover's Cry."
In the summer of 2009, Edward filed his first single as an artist, "Stereo Love" which reached No. 1 on the charts Romania. He soon became a hit in many parts of the world.2 After the success of the song, Maya began a tour worldwide.3
