  • Looks like a good Gig

    DAVESOUNDS

  • Thanks mate - Yes they did use my radio mic for the speeches - something that was requested well in advance.

  • Where's the sub!

The RCFs can't be that bassy lol

    LIVE FILMING

  • I bet you don't get port-a-bogs like that in the West Midlands LOL ;-p

  • To be fair, you may be right for once mate, you'll find out what you can get away with when you start doing real gigs. If it was the same size place but a real building, no probs - the 525s would have kicked arse as normal, but because of the sound escaping through virtually everything, the bottom end did start to disappear - so although it sounded great from and on the dancefloor, it did start to sound a little top heavy at the back end of the marquee - so the sub will be on the pitch in future

  • @ 5:50 he thinks he is mark king ha ha ha

  • Didn't have the height clearance for it, neither did I have room behind me, and the dance floor was really wonky donkey so couldn't trust putting it up over the Console as normal (also the reason I never used the syncro-screen in front) - there wasn't room to the side as the catering team needed access to a seperate bit. I'd already worked this out the day before when I checked out the venue, so I went with the 2 x ParBars and a T-Bar to the side with the laser & agressor and & x Javelins

  • LOL - You're not the first, and no-doubt won't be the last to make that comment haha.
