Seas on Titan

Saturn's Mysterious moon Titan is revealed here in a computer animation i put together using real data from the cassini space probe.

You'll clearly see lakes, or large seas on the mysterious moon. Which all lay beneath a smoggy cloud deck which blocks any imaging apart from Radar.

An island is also seen on the moon. Making this world an exceptional and fascinating place.

I work on all manner of space images, either giving them a new slant, as with this video, or enhancing them a little to bring out something new to people.

isn't the lakes on titan like a gas in a liquid form due to the cold temp over there? just asking.

yes, liquid methane, or ethane. Just recently, as the northern hemesphere has moved into spring, sunlight has been imaged hitting the liquid the lakes and sparkling!

It costs $1 a week in tax to sustain NASA at its level of budget today. More money is spent per week on cosmetics in the U.S! NASA is a fringe benefit of being the wealthiest country in the world. Not an essential i admit. But, even India are launching space craft, they see the benefits in it. NASA have not been briefed to turn a profit. If they were, i am sure they could.

There are seas on Titan however it isn't water ,its liquid natural gas :/

those aren't lakes or oceans! those are lake of liquid methane and ethane!

well there is no water lakes on Titan. Its just too cold. But the cold is enough to make methane on Titan to become liquid. So there are lakes in Titan (just made out of liquid methane mixed with ethane). There is rain in Titan like in Earth.
