Sometimes, you have the guy who knows and has structure, but most of the time, the addict will turn into a thief or whatever and will end up in the gutter

@apresesco no its not people have always and will always use substances too alter their perceptions, for the past 10000 years we've used psychoactive's. drugs are an integral part of the human existence, the problem is narrow minded people with a very weird sense of morality deeming that some plants used in a specific way are not valid human experience's. its your judeao-christian-islamic morals that make you think this way and its hurting a lot of normal people who just want too feel different

in canada something like 30% of us smoke pot every day and over 52% of the population smokes it. we boast one of the lowest violent crime rates in the developed world, we have good gun control and a safe corrections system. that proves you wrong off the bat. your confusing hard drugs with soft drugs. you should also be aware that most drugs abusers abuse legal drugs.
we simply need tight regulation and taxation of all substances and quit pretending that people don't like getting high.
