Episode 2 - What if there was a religion that treated sleep the way Christianity and other religions treat sex? I'm not much of an animator, but I just had to explore this idea by parodying the vast majority of men's Bible studies I have attended. If you have never been to a Christian "accountability" group, then this cartoon won't mean much to you. (This is not too far from what real Bible studies look like. So be afraid. Be very afraid.)

If there really was a religion that treated sleep this way, is there any doubt that this religion would be considered mentally ill and psychologically abusive? Can you see why one would want to speak out about it?

If anyone would care to enlighten me on how Christianity is any different from this whacked-out cult, please leave a comment.

  • Christianity IS NOT A CULT! It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is completely obeying, serving, honoring, following, trusting, loving, worshiping, and praising God daily. Christianity is the way everyone is surpose to live life.

  • @MysticalHeartAngel I used to think the same thing (obviously). But most people who are in a cult don't realize they're in a cult. As I see it, the only difference between a cult and a religion is the number of followers. Christianity began as a small Jewish cult that ballooned into a major world religion. In my view, if you're not allowed to doubt or disbelieve, it's a cult.

  • Very true to life.

  • @michaelsmith2911 Yeah, kinda scary!

  • haha these are great! Keep up the good work

  • @pogibija Thanks! Lots of fun to make but very time consuming. I hope more people get to see it--I'm not exactly famous. :)
