*shivers* ugh nastiness i remember i was visitin my grandparents in Jamaica nd we went to this old automotive place at night by an old barn...like i kept hearing fluttering above my head so i took a flashlight nd shined it up above me and the sky was full of bats...i screamed proudly and barrackaded the car door with me inside lol...horrid
Yeah bats are bad about Rabies but dont scare people I know he shouldent sleep here aside from that but most people get Bit when the Bat is Paralyzed from Rabies and they try to pick it up
Ppl shouldn't spew off about things they know nothing about. Just because a bat eats insects and doesn't drink blood doesn't mean it cannot contract rabies. Rabies is a disease that ALL mammals are susceptible to. I'm a biologist and ought to know. What do you guys do for a living?
I'm doing a short study on bats over the next few weeks and the guy who wrote above you MOKKIUM is right, theres only three species of bats that are vampire bats, and they are from South America the rest eat either fruit or insects + the bats poo make a good fertiliser so they say
Carriers of what? Rabies? No Sir unless they chupa sangre like in South America...most bats eat flies, moths, and small insects. My cat eats flies and moths and no such thing as rab. Well i call this ignorance....
I hope you don't sleep in this cabin. Bats are notorious carriers of rabies. Worse, a bat's teeth are so small and razor-sharp that a sleeping person is often unaware of having been bitten.
