watching the air view corn thing is really satisfying.

Back when Pontiacs were still cool!

My heart was aching when they took it into the cornfield.

It was painful to watch those slack-jawed inbreds destroy that beautiful Trans Am.

It's this sort of material that has lead to the abuse and death of many Pontiac Firebirds in every day life. Too many have been trashed up by too many 'yeehaw' people. Definitely a thumbs down, sorry.

I have been watching a few Steve Mcqueen films over Christmas. I was too young to see most of his great films at the cinema here in the UK but I saw The Hunter at the cinema and I loved it. I was aware that he was ill as he filmed it.
If I ever met Steve and I would have said only 5 words to him: "nicely done sir, nicely done".
A great actor. A cult figure. A totally flawed human being, but then arent we all.
Gone but never ever forgotten.

Little known fact McQueen was to play lead roll in Cannonball the movie. The movie was to be way different then the one that was made. The studios balked on it and McQueen got sick and later passed away. So the Movie with Burt Rynolds (sp wrong) was not the one that was to be made. Its sad we lost McQueen so young I would have loved to see CannonBall with him in it and cars going crazy.

trans am!
When I saw this film in the theater I was a little kid. My dad was laughing his ass off at the thought of Steve McQueen struggling with the car. I had no idea what was so funny. A few years later I saw Bullitt.
